TRACETECH™ VF10 Forensic Document Examination Demonstration and Technical Training

TRACETECH™ VF10 Forensic Document Examination Demonstration and Technical Training

HDX International recently conducted technical training and a live demonstration of the TRACETECH™ VF10 High-Magnification Fluorescence Microscope together with our local partner in Vietnam.

The program focused on practical applications of the VF10 in forensic document examination and questioned document analysis. Through technical presentations, real sample examination, and hands-on operation, participants gained a better understanding of how different microscopy and imaging techniques can support professional document examination.

Advanced Microscopic Examination for Forensic Documents

The TRACETECH™ VF10 is designed for forensic laboratories, questioned document examiners, law enforcement agencies, and other professionals who require detailed examination of documents and microscopic evidence.

The system combines high-magnification microscopy, multiple illumination methods, fluorescence observation, extended depth-of-field imaging, and 3D analysis in one platform.

With magnification ranging from 100× to 3200× and a 12MP high-resolution imaging system, the VF10 enables detailed observation and documentation of microscopic characteristics found in handwriting, stamps, inks, printed documents, and other trace evidence.

More Than Magnification

For forensic document examination, magnification alone is often not enough.

By using different illumination and imaging techniques, the VF10 can help examiners reveal microscopic characteristics that may be difficult to distinguish under normal observation conditions.

One important application is the examination of intersecting strokes and stamps. Detailed microscopic observation can provide additional information when investigating the sequence of handwriting, printed features, and stamp impressions.

The VF10 also provides 2D and 3D imaging and analysis tools, giving examiners additional ways to observe surface characteristics, compare microscopic details, and document examination results.

Supporting Document Examiners Worldwide

Stamps and official seals remain widely used on government, commercial, financial, and legal documents in many countries and regions around the world. Questions involving stamp impressions, handwriting, document formation, printing characteristics, and microscopic traces continue to be important areas of forensic document examination.

The VF10 is developed to provide forensic professionals with additional technical tools for these challenging examination tasks.

HDX International welcomes cooperation with forensic institutes, law enforcement agencies, government laboratories, universities, independent document examiners, and professional distributors worldwide.

Through continued technical exchange and practical applications, we look forward to exploring how TRACETECH™ VF10 can support forensic document examination in different countries and professional environments.
