One of the First OSCOR Max Demonstration Units Arrives at HDX International

HDX International is pleased to announce the arrival of our new REI OSCOR® Max demonstration unit—among the first units delivered worldwide following the product’s official launch.

This unit will be used for customer demonstrations, product presentations and professional TSCM training, giving security professionals an opportunity to experience the capabilities and operating interface of OSCOR Max firsthand.

A New Generation of Portable RF Spectrum Analysis

Developed by Research Electronics International (REI), OSCOR Max is a next-generation portable spectrum analyzer designed for Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM), RF security surveys and the detection and analysis of known, unknown, interfering and unauthorized wireless signals.

OSCOR Max provides continuous spectrum coverage from 10 kHz to 43 GHz through its built-in auto-switching antenna system. It sweeps at 1,100 GHz per second at 10 kHz resolution, completing approximately 26 full-spectrum scans every second.

The combination of wide frequency coverage, high sweep speed and detailed resolution helps operators capture intermittent, frequency-hopping and other challenging RF signals that may be difficult to detect during a technical security inspection.

Integrated Antennas and Minimal Setup

OSCOR Max is designed for rapid deployment. After startup, the system begins scanning the complete 43 GHz frequency range using its integrated antenna panel.

The built-in antenna system performs up to 125 antenna switches per second, providing uninterrupted spectrum visibility without requiring operators to manually change external antennas while conducting a full-spectrum survey.

Its portable and fully integrated design also reduces the need to assemble separate antennas, cables, computers and analysis software before beginning an inspection.

Advanced Onboard Analysis Tools

The large touchscreen interface provides direct access to a comprehensive set of spectrum analysis and signal investigation tools, including:

• Live, average and peak-hold traces
• Spectrogram and waterfall recording
• SmartBars™ signal comparison
• Discrete Bands monitoring
• Wi-Fi device detection
• Bluetooth Classic and Bluetooth Low Energy detection
• Trace Math and difference analysis
• Detailed frequency zoom
• I/Q data recording

These tools allow operators to capture, compare, classify and investigate RF activity directly on the OSCOR Max platform.

Applications

OSCOR Max is suitable for a wide range of professional security and RF analysis applications, including:

• Technical Surveillance Countermeasures
• Detection of unauthorized or illicit RF transmitters
• Government and corporate security surveys
• RF emissions detection and analysis
• Wi-Fi and Bluetooth device investigation
• Detection of wireless tracking devices
• Interference detection and troubleshooting
• Site surveys for communication systems
• RF and TEMPEST compliance testing
• Wireless systems research and development
