HDX International is pleased to announce its participation in the 8th Malaysia International Non-Destructive Testing Conference and Exhibition (8th MINDTCE 2026), organized by the Malaysian Society for Non-Destructive Testing (MSNT).
Taking place on 17–18 November 2026 at the Grand Lagoon Ballroom, Sunway Resort Hotel, Malaysia, the event will bring together NDT professionals, asset owners, engineers, researchers and technology providers from across Southeast Asia and beyond.
Under the theme “Empowering NDT with Intelligent Technologies: Smarter Tools, Safer Assets,” this year’s exhibition will focus on intelligent inspection, digital imaging, NDT 4.0, asset integrity and industrial safety.
At Booth F39, HDX International will showcase the TraceLine™ PX3 Portable X-Ray System and its specialized power transmission line X-ray inspection solutions.
TraceLine™ PX3 Portable X-Ray System
The TraceLine™ PX3 is a portable digital radiography system designed for field-based non-destructive testing. Its modular platform integrates an X-ray source, digital detector, control unit and image-processing software, enabling inspectors to acquire and analyze digital X-ray images directly at the inspection site.
PX3 can be configured for the inspection of metals, welds, castings, composite materials and other industrial components. Key features include:
- Portable and modular design for rapid field deployment
- Real-time digital radiographic imaging
- Wired and wireless operating options
- Image enhancement, measurement, pseudo-color and image-stitching tools
- Multiple X-ray source and detector configurations
- Flexible configuration based on material, thickness and inspection requirements
The system is suitable for applications in manufacturing, energy, power utilities, infrastructure maintenance and industrial inspection services.
Power Transmission Line X-Ray Inspection Solutions
HDX International will also present its digital X-ray inspection solutions developed for examining critical components on overhead power transmission lines, including compression sleeves, tension clamps and other fittings.
Two deployment platforms are available for different operating environments:
- Fixed inspection frame: A straightforward and flexible platform for inspecting designated components at specific locations.
- Crawling robotic platform: A remotely operated platform capable of moving along the line and adjusting the inspection position for multiple target areas.
Both platforms can be deployed by manual lifting or drone-assisted lifting, depending on site conditions and operational requirements. Inspection personnel can control the system and review digital X-ray images from the ground, helping reduce demanding work at height while improving deployment flexibility and inspection efficiency.
The solution supports preventive maintenance, defect investigation and asset integrity management by providing clear radiographic evidence of the internal condition of critical power line components.
