Does the software require a subscription?
No, your PX3 comes with a software dongle which grants the owner perpetual use of the software the the PX3 system.
Does the system come with a warranty?
Yes, purchase of the PX3 system comes with a 1 year manufacturer warranty plus software updates during the term of the warranty. Additional years of support can be purchased along with the system or at a later date.
Can I install the software on multiple devices?
Yes, the software license is controlled by the included security dongle. Dongles can be moved from machine to machine, but only the machine with the dongle can run the software.
What safety precautions should I take when using the PX3 system?
While the PX3 system complies with national radiation safety standards, safe operation still requires attention and responsibility. Follow these precautions at all times:
• Never stand in front of the X-ray generator during operation. Position yourself behind the unit at a distance of at least 5–7 meters to avoid scatter radiation.
• Power off the generator using the keyed switch before transporting or disassembling the system.
• Turn on the imaging panel before powering up the generator to ensure proper system initialization.
• Use the safety delay feature to give yourself time to move to a safe distance after triggering an image.
• Only qualified operators who have read and understood the manual should operate the system.
• In the event of an emergency, use the hardware interrupt button on the generator to immediately stop X-ray emission.
