OUR FLAGSHIP
Engineered for law enforcement agencies, traffic investigators, customs authorities, and forensic laboratories requiring fast, reliable, and non-destructive serial number restoration.

The TRACETECH™ RID9900 Erased Metal Stamping Detection System is developed for professional investigators who need to recover original stamped markings that have been removed, altered, or intentionally damaged on ferromagnetic metal surfaces.
Using advanced magneto-optical imaging technology, RID9900 helps reveal residual magnetic deformation beneath the metal surface, making it possible to identify hidden or erased markings without causing further damage to the evidence.
It is widely used in forensic laboratories, law enforcement agencies, customs inspections, vehicle investigations, and industrial traceability applications.

Mag Stripe Mode
Using magnetic strips and a magnetic excitation rod to directly sample tamping areas, this method is well suited for confined, hard-to-access locations, such as VINs on small vehicles that are often stamped beneath the front seats.

Real-time Mode
Rapid scanning with a magneto-optical probe enables quick detection of suspected tampings locations, making it especially effective when the exact position is obscured by grinding, covering, or corrosion.

Non-Destructive Erased VIN Examination
RID9900 uses advanced Magneto-Optical (MO) technology to detect subsurface magnetic anomalies left by original stampings. It enables fast, precise, and on-site detection of erased VINs and serial numbers without damaging the material.

High Sensitivity & Micron-Level Imaging
Magneto-optical technology converts magnetic signals into high-contrast optical images, enabling micron-level visualization of erased metal stampings. Even after complete removal and up to 0.7 mm additional grinding, subsurface magnetic anomalies reveal the original impressions — meeting millimeter and sub-millimeter inspection standards.
