A New Hardware Expansion for HEDR: CAN FD Adapter Prototype Completed
We are pleased to share the latest development progress of the TRACETECH™ HEDR Vehicle Event Data Retrieval System.
The prototype of our new HEDR CAN FD Adapter has now been completed. Designed in response to the growing use of CAN FD communication in newer vehicle platforms—particularly Chinese new-energy vehicles—the adapter will extend HEDR’s communication capabilities for selected supported vehicles requiring CAN FD access.
The adapter will be offered as an optional hardware upgrade for existing HEDR systems, allowing users to add CAN FD capability without replacing the current main unit.
