FS5 is a portable forensic imaging system designed for imaging fingerprints lifted with Gellifters.

The system is specifically designed for fingerprint departments. Images are captured at 1000 dpi resolution and can be exported to AFIS.

FS5 supports a practical digital workflow from image acquisition to scanned image review, selected image enhancement, and digital ruler marking.

Gellifter Imaging Workflow

FS5 Gellifter Imaging System

FS5 is used after fingerprints are lifted with Gellifters. The lifted sample can be inserted into the system for digital image acquisition.

This workflow is suitable for fingerprint samples lifted from irregular surfaces, helping reduce interference from roughness, reflections, and background patterns.
